The Stone Poem by Randy McClave

The Stone

Rating: 5.0

In my hand I held a stone
With fury it was about ready to be thrown,
But, then I dropped it after I counted to ten
I of course was with sin.
I have lied and cheated and also stole
And I have accused and cursed against another soul,
I have used others to always get my way
Bills and debts cunningly I got others to pay.
Of course to throw the stone I was not qualified
So, I dropped that stone at my side,
With that rock someone badly I wanted to hit
But, the one qualified to throw a stone, he never threw it.
