The Stone's Cast

If the stones that we cast
Were returned quickly to us,
Then many stones we would have amassed
But, then we'd have no quarrel or fuss.
If the hurt that was inflicted upon others
Was instead returned without reply,
Then I say this without thoughts or druthers
Those sinners would be the first to cry.
Sad, to say to those who cast those stones
Sinners they all truly are,
Everyone hears their pitiful moans and groans
And those stones, they're not cast that far.
