The Storm Poem by Ryan Leonard

The Storm

Tempests rage amid the pacific,
Seas dance under a lightning lit sky
Each crest marked with foamy froth
Leaving me to list in the loneliness
Such squalls wreak havoc within my soul
But whosoever finds me, I shall love forever
On a long voyage home she stumbles upon me
Fate itself must have played a role
Perhaps even luck had a part
For her presence calms the winds,
And her peace parts the clouds
So the sun can share in our joy
And bask in our radiance
