The Story Of Our Aborted Love Poem by Hebert Logerie

The Story Of Our Aborted Love

Darling, we met at random,
A summer afternoon near the little bazaar.
We were behaving like two immigrants,
Where our eyes searched everywhere for a screen.

We were attracted to each other's reflections.
In the firmament, the stars were furrowing us.
Darling, that's where the conversations started,
And we exchanged sentences and beautiful ideas.

You were smiling when you gave me your personal number,
And I reciprocated. The air was sweet and cheerful.
For months, you were my beautiful moon and my sun.

We were amazingly inseparable. I imagined and dreamed
Of a future with you. Unfortunately, you thought otherwise.
You're haunted by a devil. Sadly, our love story was aborted.
