The sunshine from left
Oliver Hua
January 6th,2019, Toronto
The sunshine in my memory
They always penetrate from left of my desk
I always observe the dancing dust amongst sunshine
They are the dancers under the Neon Lightings
They are all in silky bolt ties
The slender skirts
Cutaways
All the legends about the western world
They are coming from import film, magazine and far-off whispers
The most exciting parties
Do not need luxury banquet
Youths in Lenin Coat
They sit on the ground talking
They talk in command of winds, clouds, rivers and mountains.
The sunshine from left
They have brightened our dream colors
The dream rises amongst hunger and poverty
Those numerous sagas
They have built the splendid history of our old generations
Do you remember?
We swim in the middle of current
A speedy boat leaves all the waves behind
Today, the sunshine also penetrates from left of the window
History has changed completely
Our dream has landed
The legends become normal routines
Our days are just like the dusts inside this sunshine
They have collapsed as those dusts
In the corner that nobody would even notice
