In your life, you are either known or unknown
If you are rich or well-known, for your fame
all your movements are monitored
because of your bright name
You are prohibited from doing what you like
That is at the expense of your fame
If you are unknown, no one will watch you except by chance,
not blamed, not to blame
You are allowed to do anything
that does not the others' repute defame
Life therefore prohibits and permits
The first type is happy with his fame,
with his name, he has won his game
But he is unhappy with his deprivation,
The tiniest fault brings him shame
The second type is unhappy with its anonymity
and happy with his freedom,
welcome wherever he came
The permission given to the well-known
is that if he sees a bunch of sweet grapes
in a vineyard
he does not extend his hand to it
for fear of exposure that brings shame
The unknown person cuts the bunch and eats the grapes,
being unkwon is exactly being not seen
He enjoys the taste of sweetness of freedom
While the first type gets the pleasure of fame
The second enjoys the taste of grapes,
with his unknown name
I am happy with my freedom and unhappy with my anonymity
Yet I will not seek to gain fame for fear of losing my freedom & mobility
