Praise "Bad" When "the Worse" Comes
By Freeyad Ibrahim
People before the virus
were suffering from boredom
due to their daily routine
Some of them had mental illnesses
Some of them committed suicide
And yet, after the dreaded virus struck
they long for returning
to their boring daily routine
It is said that a young man
accompanied a Prince on a cruise
He sat in a wooden chair
ina corner of the ship,
shivering in fear and panic
at the raging sea
The wise prince ordered his servants
to drop him into the water,
and they did
The young man began to scream and cry
out for the nearing death,
Before he was about to drown,
the prince gave orders to get him out
of the water
And when he returned,
he sat in his place, quiet,
silent, content,
praising the Lord
for the blessing
of the Peaceful sea

A tremendous brilliant poem about the present life, a strong thought-provoking poem. 5 Stars Full Vote! I have enjoyed about the ironic human wish in ordinary life. People turned oft in the contra-minus when life is too good. Thank you so much for sharing this poem about the existing life.NMy greatest compliments!
Great words emerge out of great minds...Sylvia is the Sun from which the moon feeds its light...No word is able to express my feeling...When I read your comment this I think you have read my biography- -my history of honesty- -my father oft told me I am honest, and this quality would make you be loved by the honest friends...Sylivia you do me remember the beautiful past, for you are as simple and righteous as the past- I love you
