change found reclaimed
another one of those poems
swift written on an envelope

this time by chance it is from
'The West Coast Regional Council'
just another rates imposed update
from Greymouth for Westport
non residents for services
charged for Westport Residents
don't use maintenace of the tracks
and toilet facilities for the limestone

pancake rocks and blowholes
at Punakaiki about half way between
West Coast South Island New Zealand
towns Westport and Greymouth
on famous scenic coastal state
highway 6 in Paparoa National Park

who the envelope is from is irrelevant
to theme thoughts swift written words ideas
expressed in poem 'Cut Away Religion'

a poem indifference thrown away
by my wife in her tidy up house
cleaning frenzy turn house upside

down a poem lucky by change saved
from the fire not used as mere paper
for quick setting the fire material tinder

I lose quiet a few poems that way
the loss strangely tends to ruin my day
no solution nothing more I can say
