The Thief Groom Poem by Akinnusi Daniel Oladipo

The Thief Groom

Rating: 4.5

The prophets portended it,
Bible bibled it,
And so shall it be.
Faith has lost,
Our lives we live,
Days to week,
Weeks to month,
Gradually the songs fade.
Works and lives the world Focuses,
By the sun and the moon,
The belief is remiss,
But I tell you;
The groom is a thief at night.

An good depiction of the day of Great Tribulation - the ultimate date with fate, when the Groom shall come like a thief at night. An insightful piece of poetry, well articulated and nicely penned with spiritual insight. Thanks for sharing Akinnusi. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
