The Things Desired Poem by Allen Steble The Philosophical Poet

The Things Desired

Rating: 4.0

If I could have
just one wish granted
in this life
it would only be
to be happy
no matter what I'm doing
whether I'm driving
a garbage truck
or cleaning rest rooms
to me the most important thing
is to pursue happiness
and share it with
the ones I love

Happiness is what we all want, but is often so hard to find. Nice little write.

Happiness is the key to life. Without it nothing matters very much

This a beautiful poem, I know sometimes seems that happiness cannot be found, especially in a relationship, and when you finally find your one it doesn't matter where are what your doing they are on your mind thanks for sharing and keep up the good work! ! ! !

Happiness as elusive as a dream, yet the focal point of all our human schemes.
