The Tourists Poem by Argentine Tango

The Tourists

Rating: 4.5

Tourists gather 'round the statue and pose
But don't bother to read the plaque
They snap their cameras and fly back home
Without ever looking back

Friends may make for good memories
But for good company, rather not
They only want something more from me
And I'm lonelier for what they sought
