~the Trance~ Poem by E Nigma

~the Trance~

I calculated all but the end this time
Wrapped the subtle math around my being
Ventured deep into the void of light
Tonight I choose my suffering

Overlapping moments lapsing
Lost in sync my souls collapsing
Underneath the brink It's taxing
Must believe, I can see past me
Pushing down this hole
I carried on to let them know
And even though I lost myself
I will embrace this someone else
Until I fade into the black and past
The guardians who task
An through the gates I stand at last
This ancient past of who I am
And so I asked how I can see
The end of all my slumbering
An through the eyes of someone else
The beginnings what I felt

Vibrating my being, electric ghosts conjuring
This empty host through which I see
I believe and though I grieve I am relieved
that I'm alive I've collapsed yet I've survived
