The Truth Cannot Change - Poem by Cynthia BuhainBaello

Truth has a way of exposing
Hidden falsehoods and the Lie
Once said, it sets on cutting
And anger can be seen in the eye

Wrong, when revealed, reacts
As always it will try to reason
But we can never change facts
To state them is not judging one.

God cannot change for man
His Character is eternal
The clay cannot make demands
Since he is only mortal.

Sin has been so defined
And the One Who made all creation
Will one day draw the line
And judge between Truth and Deception.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

'Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman. That is detestable.'

LEVITICUS 18: 22
