Tis peace of mind
for which mankind
does most truly seek -
Peace deep in the soul
for which no
words can speak -
Peace which all
were created for -
Peace seminal, primal
the human heart
meant to bore -
The turning of the earth
the passing of the wind,
out amongst a strange land...
until the Peace
returns once again -
What causes a man
to search,
and to roam...
a wandering spirit
and a heart for Home -
A vision in the desert
or upon the lone prairie...
our burdens,
in our own way
we all must carry -
For why are we here turning with the earth
if we've no Place to go...
like the dust from which we came
we must follow
where the Wild-Wind shall blow -
Life can indeed seem pointless, even meaningless. It always leads to the permanent state of death. But that is exactly why we should all join together in peace, equality and love. We have one, brief shot and everyone deserves to have that time be as joyful as possible. The Earth will revolve without me but while I still breathe, I find purpose in giving purpose.
Thanks Kelly. You are correct, we truly should join together in peace, equality and love. Wise words.
