The Twelve Tribes Of Israel (History History History History) Poem by Udiah (witness to Yah)

The Twelve Tribes Of Israel (History History History History)

Rating: 0.8

Where did the twelve tribes of Israel go?
Where are they today, do you wish to know?
There were the twelve tribes, yes, even thirteen
Since, blessings of Jacob was split between
Joseph's two sons, as Israel foreseen

Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah
Zebulun, Issachar, Dan, Gad, Asher
Naphtali, Ephraim, and Manasseh
with Benjamin bringing up the latter

The one kingdom, Israel, became two:
Judah and Israel when it was through.
Assyria scattered Israel's tribes
To fulfill the punishment God prescribed
As it has been written by the Kings scribes

Judah was then taken by Babylon
After seventy years some Jews returned
But many of Israel traveled on
From the Caucasus Mountains they sojourned

They have forgotten from whence they did come
But the Lord God knows just where they came from
Their histories have fulfilled prophecy
Becoming great nations as God did foresee
One has only to open their eyes and see
