The 'twisters' Poem by james watkin

The 'twisters'

Eddies in Kansas are known
For their affrontery.
Compartments of our quarters
And stray presbytery
Contraband accredited
To the 'twisters'.
While not a one arraign
Of a county forsaken
By its Cerberus troupe.
Alibis, the haven
Of the one who clicked
Her ruby slippers.
