The Unforgettable Moments Poem by Namita Rani Panda

The Unforgettable Moments

Rating: 5.0

Can the Earth forget the first touch of rain
after long scorching summer?
Can the tree forget the pleasure
Of bearing the first fruit or flower?
Can you ever forget the heavenly pleasure
that you had in the lap of your mother
or the arms of your father?
Can you ever forget the moist kiss
and the warm loving embrace of your first lover?
Can a lady forget the proud moment of becoming a mother?
Can you ever forget the sadness
due to the death of a dear and near
or the void created by a lying lover
or a long cherished dream shattered forever?
Life is certainly full or pain and pleasure
and those unforgettable moments are our priceless treasure.
