The Vaccine Blues Poem by Panagiota Romios

The Vaccine Blues

Oh, joy, the magic, potion is here?
To be injected in the arm, not my derrière.

I am no fool to buy eternal life swishing in a needle via a potion.
This is not a  magical health revolution.

I'd rather die, by God's voice.
No Big Brothers demanding I have no choice.

Like worms is a fresh apple they've taken freedoms away.
Do you think I will stand hereand say, O.K.?

With masks I can take no more!
And no, in front of this face, I will not sport a plastic door! !

No, you may not tell me withwhom I might dine, nor fine me!
Because my lfe belongs to God, the Divine!

Johns Hopkins published the truth.
That paper was pulled offline forsooth!

You do as you so choose~
I am not one who will sing the vaccine blues.

line 1 I'd delete 3rd comma line 6 " No Big Brothers demanding I have no choice" i agree. But it can be " a tough call" **. ** " (chiefly US, idiomatic) A choice or judgment which is difficult to make, especially one involving only two alternatives." line 7 maybe 'worms IN'? taking the apple's freedom? The poem is a VERY STRONG personal statement of belief and defiance! to MyPoemList call me from jail bri :)
