The Velvet Glove Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

The Velvet Glove

Rating: 5.0

Step with that velvet glove
Waking me up from this misery
It's only you I miss
With memories I can still embrace
Drag me off the harden bed
We once shared
And take me to heaven with you
The remembrance of our time together
I cherish in my soul
And the remorse of letting you go
Has cursed me to a place
Where I can joyfully sing once more
Though, it won't bring you back
