The Unborn Son Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

The Unborn Son

Rating: 5.0

Take my hand
I will never touch another living soul
And won't leave you hanging on the edge
Kiss my lips
For they are dry as the desert
Anticipating the rain
Don't cry for me
I have already perished in a flood of emotions
That yr tears have created
And nothing has made me succumbed
To madness but yr whining
For our unborn son
That you didn't want in the first place

LeeAnn, so full of hurt and pain, I share your deep emotions. My late wife had unstable diabetes and couldn't have the children I now miss. Her doctor said pregnancy would kill her and any unborn baby.

True story or your creative imagination? Either way, extremely well done and heartbreaking.

A fantastic poem loaded with love and emotion....yes, it's bitter sweet love dear LeeAnn. I sincerely appreciate the sensible concept that your poetic mind has conceived. Top score!
