What if love was to be an offence
An offence people commit
And what if we dropped into earth
Knowing love all a sin
A sin to God and gods
A sin punishable by law
A misconduct against mankind
The love sin could have been terned lovery
...Just as in adultery
What if hating you could have been better
What if love was so poisonous to the heart
What then would we fall into...hate?
Since we are falling out of love, then it is
Imagine seeing us alone together could linger death whispers
Imagine blowing you a kiss could send the lover's love to jail
Imagine being caught cuddling you could take away my life
With this as the ship we sail on
Would you still love me back if I do?
To love me despite it is a sin
Despite the death sentence...
Would you still?
Would you? Knowing it is the path to our end
Love is not a feeling
...Like religion
Love is a life, a life people live
An inherent sin that cannot be repented from
A sin that only paves living
Such that can also pave dying
