The void in my head is filled with the loneliness
Of a world that's been left behind
Where my dreams are forgotten
And my heart is unkind

Where no one can hear me
And I'm filled with despair
Where I can't find an answer
To the questions I bear

The silence is deafening
In the depths of my soul
Where the shadows of sadness
Consume me whole

The loneliness creeps in
With an air of dread
As I wander this empty abyss
Searching for something ahead

The void in my head
Is a place of despair
Where I search for the solitude
That's no longer there
