The Waiting, Wanting
Chasing passion and the unknown
wanting to savour forbidden fruits
to experience new highs and worlds
to hold no fear in the unknown
to live a thousand lives at once
to discover the endless possibilities
and see all that there is
and still that there is more besides
to raise the pulse and heartbeat
to be unbound, set free
to soar amongst higher skies
