The Watering Hole Poem by John Leroy Maxwell

The Watering Hole

The Watering Hole is the melting pot
I list', I watch, what come, what not
Here I see and here I hear, so many
things which I do fear
It's not for me to toe the line, make
things just so, make things so fine
I do not know the game this day, nor
how I'm doing my best, some way
Ipse dixit, some would say
