The Wellness Of My Soul

The wellness of my soul has blessed
Me each and every day
For the biggest hindrance of it's worth
Was sin that had brought dismay
While I finally came to realize
Through the reading of God's Word
That things could be changed on the inside
If Iput my trust in the Lord

And the Holy Spirit solidified
That decision to my heart
By bearing witness to my spirit
That He would never depart
And now my internal Comforter
Who stamped me with God's seal
Helps to guide me on my way
As I seek to do God's will

How are you feeling on the inside
What degree of wellness has your soul
Has sin in your life blocked the blessings
Well! ... Christ can make you whole
Don't let satan's deceptions
The lust of the world, the flesh, and pride
Remember he may come as an angel of light
But in reality he's the father of lies

Hey its early in the morning now
You can begin a brand new day
With an optomistic spirit of faith
I'm going to try things God's way
And prayer as your friend my friend
Take a fresh look in the Book
Christ's the answer to your soul's satisfaction
It will be the best decision you ever took!

Praise God for that wonderful Saviour
Who's chief delight for me
Is that I come to have fellowship with Him
The One who died for me
When that truth is realized
The fullness of God's love
For you His sacrificial offering
There's power in the blood

Now my soul has freedom
For there's a brand new me
For the one who Created this universe
Now definitely lives inside of me
What greater arms to rest in
I've found them so satisfying
Knowing the truth has made me free
And to that truth there's no denying!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
