The Wind Poem by Jean Dament

The Wind

Rating: 5.0

A slight breeze can bring gentle relief as the heat mounts so high;
And there are cool winds that whisper softly through trees like a sigh,

But the opposite happens when fierce storms brew & scatter upon the land;
Where strong, unbearable gusts thrash o'er oceans, silt & sand,

Causing death & destruction in it's path;
As the temps seer & soar with it's unforgiving rath,

Luckily some days come with ease & calm,
Lending us a welcoming balm,

That keeps our journey in life safe & sound;
Where peace & God can be found.
