The Wise And The Vice Poem by Rm. Shanmugam Chettiar

The Wise And The Vice

You will not correct your wrongs
Unless your instincts dictate it.
You will not change your habits
Unless your instincts warrant it.
You cannot love or hate
Unless your instincts support them.
You cannot practise honesty
Unless your instincts promote it.
To grow wise will not terminate vice.
