The Witch And The Sun Child Poem by bob eichen

The Witch And The Sun Child

Rating: 5.0

Imagine
Imagine a world
Imagine a life
In shadow
In fog
Darkness
Black
Imagine a world illuminated by three suns
Three sons
Life now in eclipse
Now void
Dispair
Three sons stolen by a witch
Not a storybook, make believe kind of witch
A real live witch
Imagine long years of darkness
loneliness
Suddenly!
Brilliantly!
A single ray of hope
A single ray of light
Brought by a child of the sun
My little son child
But now the witch is back
After my son child!
