The Wizard Behind The Curtain Poem by Ted Sheridan

The Wizard Behind The Curtain

Rating: 5.0

In that something can occupy such a small space
in our brain and yet be ascertained by scholars
as an infinite space to conquer.
In all actuality; speaks volumes
as to the lack of complexity being attributed it
by our collective nervous system.
Faced daily with a world of wants and needs,
the vitriol hunger in the belly of the opposing beast
seeks to devour souls and corrupt the mission by redirecting our moral compass with counterclockwise clicking
so that the azimuth between heaven and earth
can no longer be determined by simply walking
the straight and narrow line between good and evil….
Observe America
Yet another Wizard appears....
and once again we have become as we always were.
Lost forever in a state of OZ___
