The World We Live In Poem by Christopher's Dead

The World We Live In

Rating: 4.9

Violence, lying,
Fearful crying,
No escaping,
Hopeless waiting,
All they want is conformity,
Listen to their hypocrisy,
Open wounds, broken hearts,
Life mistakes, no restarts,
Deeper cuts, open wrists,
Under your breath, with clenched fists,
All they teach is hate and greed,
Teachers exploit, what's the need,
Deeper holes we fill with soil,
Corpses lie, it's in turmoil,
Atrocity,
Conformity,
The pain we feel, the blood we see,
Beneath it all, below the dirt,
Don't stop us now, with death we flirt,
Our rebellion, their narcistic state,
It's the world we live in, the world they create.

Speechless, this is amazing. The fact that everything is true. Us humans aren't anymore different than fierce creatures. We're heartless, the world is heartless, and this has to stop.
