The Worst Lie Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

The Worst Lie

Yesterday I met
The old man,
He is renowned
For his wisdom,
Everybody respects him,
He stared at me for a while
And then gently asked,
'Do you know yourself? '
I could not understand the profound meaning of the question,
So immediately I answered,
'Of course, I know, '
The old man smiled
And said to me,
'You have told me the worst lie.'
