There Are No Tears In Heaven - Poem by Wayne Bowen
When our loved ones leave this world one day to be with God on high,
We'll come to shed our tears and say our last goodbye.
Pain and grief can't follow them when their Savior calls them home,
they'll never have to cry again with all the pain they've known.
When they walk down those streets of gold, they'll never have to fear,
there won't be grief or sorrow so they will never shed a tear.
There is one question I'd like to ask since I've always wondered why,
'are there any tears in heaven and do angels ever cry? '
I ask my Savior Jesus and this was His reply,
'there are no tears in heaven there's no reason here to cry
there are no tears in heaven why would there ever be
since there's no pain or sorrow throughout eternity.'
When we look back at this old world with all it's sin and strife,
we'll look back with some regrets of how we lived our life.
We've had our share of sorrows, we've shed our tears of pain,
but when we are with our Savior we'll never cry again.
There is everything in heaven, but one thing you won't see,
there are no tears in heaven why would there ever be?
There is no grief or sorrow throughout eternity,
and there are no tears in heaven and there will never be!
