There Is Love After Love

He’s in love;
It’s in his eyes.
She is clueless.
He kept it disguised.
Now is the moment—
The big reveal.
Such special feelings,
No longer concealed.
He tells her he loves her,
And she is surprised
With tears welling
In her eyes.
Now, fifty years later,
They’re still holding hands
And celebrating
With wedding bands.
