There Is No End To Time - Poem by Peter S. Quinn

There is no end to time in its endless going
Flowing on and giving all its waves
Day to day goes by without ever knowing
What it is that the heart and mind craves
Beautiful daybreak like night on wings singing
All the flow of ticking clocks adjusting
Onto seasons and work happenings bringing
We to life and advent are entrusting

Together we go on in forward notion
Time and I making and comprehending
Stretching a thought and ticks like locomotion
Each of its way endlessly transcending

Around in a circle where everything goes
Daybreak to daytime into evening that glows

I had to save this in my favorites. It's a whale of a poem. But that's no surprise when it's you writing it. (Report) Reply

as in life our time is fleeting. we are all caught up in the mechanical windings when in fact time is as irrelevent as the tide is high. eventually crushing us all in mere seconds in its universal cogs. (Report) Reply
