There's Days Poem by Gary James Smith

There's Days

There's Days

There's days I scarce can soak it in
Of the blessings that I've had
Savoring every memory thereof
Although at times it makes me sad
How that of God's amazing grace
That still sounds sweet to me
Especially of the awesomeness
Of my Father's abundant mercy

Surrounded by the love of God
I know the Master's touch
I know He loves me as one of His own
And He loves me very much
And when I dealt that day with sin
At the Cross of Calvary
I knew such liberating power
As forgiveness setme free

The Bible has an attachment
An attraction if you please
For in its pages an awareness revealed
That can bring us to our knees
For God in His great love for man
Procured the sinner's release
Upon our faith in Jesus Christ
Comes assurance of Victory

Don't be one of the havenots
Because you have not come
Settle it in your heart today
To secure a heavenly home
Earth is not our Paradise
There's a roll call awaiting yonder
Our God is able to deliver you
Just capture that thought in wonder!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
