There's Power In The Holy Ghost

There's power in the Holy Ghost
There's power in the Word
To give us faith to believe
When the gospel message was heard
To trust a Saviour we never knew
Who died that we might live
Who loved the world so very much
His own dear life did give

A Son who loved His Father so
And was obedient unto death
To give to us a blessed hope
Eternal life as our existing breath
We know in Whom we have believed
Our faith is our reality
For whomsoever believes on Christ
Has the Son Who can make one free

It's so hard to put into words
How faith can be expressed
But hallelujah 's and praise the Lord's
Probably sum it up the best
From a heart that's been made clean
To know Him as Immanuel
We have a Saviour Who redeems
And who can savea soul from Hell!
