There's Power In The Word Of God

There's power in the Word of God
Even if it's read so silently
For God Almighty is its Author
And His heart is set on thee
He will move both heaven and earth
If that is what it is going to take
For you to see that your soul is on a mission
Give it highest regard because of Heaven's sake

For God's love for His world
Is incorporated in you
Your best interest is at heart in this matter
For He has your Salvation always in view
A kinship with you in the Hereafter
By His Word this world was Created
By God's Word it shall vanish as well
The Word of God still holds it all together
For God has power over both Heaven and Hell

The preaching of the Cross to them that perish is foolishness
But God is no fool my friend
He uses His Word to reach heart's for the Saviour
That men might be born again
For unto us who believe it's the power of God
The power of God unto Salvation
So give Highest of reverence to God's Holy Word
Give your soul as to knowing Him... swift attention!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
