These Days Poem by Lora Colon

These Days

Rating: 5.0

These are the days that I must cherish,
The days that I dreamed would come;
Words of love written on marble walls
Shine like diamonds in the sun

These are the days when dreamers dance,
Swaying against crimson skies;
Each dance will bring us closer to love.....
Look with your heart..... not your eyes

These are the days when passion smiles,
It runs free in dales and hills,
Pausing to bathe in a mountain stream....
Or ride the wind, if it so wills

These are the days that darkness dreads,
Darkness can't exist in light;
Storm clouds cannot gather in these halls,
I will not give them the right

During these days I must rejoice,
I don't know when they'll return;
Soon, they may become just memories....
In my heart, they'll always burn

Take me in your arms now, my love,
The clock is chiming eleven....
These are the nights angels smile upon....
These are the days of heaven

So is this the miracle that you've been waiting for Lora? Are you really choosing love? If so is this a blessing from God (something out of your control) or something you have managed to obtain without His help? Is a vision of God's role in your life, still a missing dream? Did the swan you dreamt of really lay a rose at your feet? If your love should die, would you still bless God for the time you had? I hope so. As always I have so many questions and eagerly await the poems from your heart that could contain the answers.
