These Walls Poem by Amanda Swindahl

These Walls

Written by: Amanda Swindahl

Hush sounds breathe across the room,

These walls harp the whispers in the floating innocence.

A conspiracy delicately blossoms beneath the naked truth,

Set every feeling free,

Run without worry,

Flush away such a majestic silence in the withering harmonium.

Hush sounds breathe across the room,

These walls harp the whispers in floating innocence,

Rebellious scandal,

Your trial has just begun.

These walls will lock you in,

Guilt will trap your chance of freedom,

Hush sounds breathe across the room,

These walls harp the once fragile innocence of your inspired conspiracy,

No method of silent remorse is so soothing,

Without actions it has no meaning,

Hush sounds breathe silence,

These walls speak

Your battle has just begun.
