Wick And A Flame Poem by Amanda Swindahl

Wick And A Flame

Wick and a flame; shrinking as it burns. Wild flame dancing in the dark. Casting shadows on the wall; bringing silence to life. Wick and a flame, burning without shame. Make a mockery of the world with time to spare, and hours to go. Watch you rave in your dancing way. Hush flame, your getting louder. Wick and a flame; See right through you, be ablaze without any shame. Wick and a flame, it triggers emotion, heart burning brighter. Wild flame dancing in the dark, shadows more vividly portray a piece of me, and a part of you. Wick be weak; Flame be still, desire is hunger to suffice. Wick and a flame, together we are on fire. Hush flame, be still.
