Two Hearts Poem by Amanda Swindahl

Two Hearts

Was it love,
or was it lust at first sight.
Look into her eyes,
and she'll lock you in,
steal your heart,
hold you with her hands,
but she'll love you with every piece of her heart.
Uttering words that only mean something with an act of passion.
Silence moves through your finger tips,
and challenges every bone with adreniline,
but its your mind that races and your heart that follows,
actions rather than answers, questions that are answered in the moment.
Shadows partial to the two souls that sink together as one.
Making dreams concrete with every last breath,
a breath too captivating,
every piece of those two hearts,
solitude and lasting.
