They Came To The U.S Poem by Randy McClave

They Came To The U.S

They came to the U.S
We don't want them politicians and citizens did express,
We cannot feed them or want them many then said
Immigrants will rape us, and will hurt us and will want us dead.
I have heard those same feelings and words before
They all came from a past world war,
It came from a time when we were helping others
When everyone was our sisters and brothers.
Immigrants come to our land just wanting to escape
Murder, injustice and slavery and rape
They are seeking a better life for them and their family
They are all escaping an upcoming calamity.
Many will say let's send them all back to where they come from
They are all liars with wrong beliefs and they are all scum,
Let's ignore their pleas and their every pitiful sob
All they want to do is to cheat us, rape us, murder us and rob.
I said, they came to our country as our forefathers did
And no one said, "No! " and not one person did forbid,
They are like you and me are just seeking a better tomorrow
With less pain and hate and God bless them, less sorrow.
I will pray for them many Americans will say
But, here in the United States many don't want them none to stay,
Sadly, they are now loaded on buses and on planes
As the Nazis had loaded their victims on trains.
