They Love Thy Light Poem by Samantha Ashley

They Love Thy Light

Rating: 5.0

They love thy light; how could they not?
Tis’ a wondrous sight mine eyes have yet forgot.
They speak of thee; thy eloquent word, once told to me.
Long, since I have heard.
They dream of thy sun, to melt beneath it's fiery glow.
Thou wert my desire but I; too proud to know.
They come to me, and ask how I resist thy spirit.
My moment in thine heart passed, and that of shame is secret.
They haste to seek thee, and revel in thy name.
Oh, but one above all loved thee, before thy reached beaming fame.
