Thickness Of Blood Poem by Miranda Weller

Thickness Of Blood

Rating: 5.0

Cannot sleep many thoughts in my mind, feel pain of metal as it grinds. Heart left broken and shattered in bits. Severed through the heart, dull rusty blade. Tears fall sitting to think, pinch myself, no fairy tale no dream. We promised no matter uncomfortable it was, be real, keep only truths near me. Forgiveness been given, our blood and love run far too deep. I am sure that it will change when we finally speak. I will hear all the beautiful things, unless you back it up and quit backing down. All this means nothing when actions speak louder than words ever could.
