Thine Eyes Poem by Donald R Wolff JR

Thine Eyes

Upon a burdened heart so weary
Thine eyes give thought to a long lost yearning
A dream forgotten that was left to die
Ensnares me within thy deep blue eyes

Oh spirited heart wake not lost dreams
Leave silence whence love wasted- lies unseen
Glance thither- yonder waits a youthful charm
Let love's flame burn embraced within his arms

Such supple breasts bewitch a lusting haste
With nectar sweet- desire longs to taste
Restless loins stir to know thy treasure
Dare not awake love's silence, for a night of pleasure

Betray me lover with passion lies
You Possess a hopeless dream within thine eyes
Forbidden, is my spirit to break once more
Still, the pain of love my heart adores

Shall I love thee till the morning light
Or make a vow till death- before my future wife
Wouldst thou cherish my last years- forevermore
Or shall I waste in silence behind a broken door
