This Day Six Years Ago Poem by Heather Z. Hanna

This Day Six Years Ago

This day six years ago,
Silently we watched
The drama unfold.
Over and over
The images burned,
As real as the fires
In the falling towers.
Of lives changed forever
By the hate stabbed
At our Hearts.
A frightful turn
Of history's page.
Changing our direction
In life yet again.
