This Fact Of Life



the new born mosquito
from the dirty pond
excitedly told its mom
that people that it met
along the way are always
clapping at him, and

its mom gives the warning:
some people clap just to kill you
beware! beware!

it will take time for this
innocent mosquito to understand
this fact of life.
