This Moment Of A Swelling Omen Poem by james watkin

This Moment Of A Swelling Omen

This moment of a swelling omen
Longest waited lover's moon.
Of nocturne, or soft lovers' tune
Lengthiest deferred even *.

Perilously is the breath so held
Is this wishful watchfulness
That I'm dying to feel a caress!
To feel tinglingly compelled.
