This Love Needs, This Dewy Sympathy Poem by james watkin

This Love Needs, This Dewy Sympathy

This love needs, this dewy sympathy
This drench of compassion held in
Transfuse some wan cheek; with rain's flurry
Fall; to foil some pretty's flagging.

To be looked on as that received back
Of a dry heart of a country
Happy sounding, in golden whistler.
In chestnut-crowned babbler, noisy. *
