The poet said - Come back
'Come back to me my mother
Come in any form that you may! '
I think I now understand the longing
The yearning in our every heart
The seach we undertake to find
Our mother's love so free, so full
It overflowed in our lives - We
Look and find her glance, her grace
in our daughters dance
We find her tireless spirit and courage
Reflected in our sons - But,
Truly blessed are those who find
A mother's undemanding, outpouring love
In the embrace of their spouse!
Poet! Seer! What inspiration you be
When your verse begets responses as these!
Great poem, subtle, dramatic, thoughtful too
This my tribute to you!
